The boys have been working hard on this song to share. They played it for our Christmas program at church today and did a fantastic job. Apparently the drastic change in temperature did a number to Josh's violin because even though I tuned it right before the program started it was very out of tune 20 minutes later when it was our turn to play. We started and only a note or two into the song Josh stopped and looked at me. I stopped and went up and asked what was wrong - his "A" was off he said - it sounded like a "D". We excused ourselves, got all tuned again and were ready to go a couple of songs later. It was very good that we stopped because they worked very hard on the harmony and it would have been awful out of tune. Once it was fixed it was fantastic!
We got lots of comments on how cute it was that he was so adament about getting it perfectly in tune - he was just not going to play it wrong!
A couple of things - the noise in the background is Anna banging on something, there is a little mistake at the end but after practicing all week and this morning at church we figured we were done for now, and the faces, bows etc. . . - well they are boys! ;)
